When I found out I was pregnant honestly I didn't even grow out of the tomboy phase. I wasn't sure how I'd handle this child. I prayed daily to have a boy. Those prayers didn't get higher than the ceiling, I now have a three year old girl. My mom told me parenting would be hard, but not this hard. My daughters dad walked out when I was five months pregnant. I was so lost, so I started looking up to my sister. Same times she woke her kids, I did. When she started cooking, I did. My daughters bedtime became 8, because my sister did. Moral of the story, all you have to do is try. Parenting is challenging, parenting will make you cry, BUT parenting can also make you a better person. Parenting has made me smarter, and each day my patience is growing.
